Gene Kelly

Director of the Garry Owen House

Mr. Kelly is a United States Navy veteran. He is retired from general contracting. He has served on the board of Knox County Head Start and local non-profits. His value is to assist in the development and continued program implementation of the Garry Owen House and volunteers approximately 10-15 hours a month to the project.

Barry Robertson

Director of the Garry Owen House

Mr. Robertson served 3 years in the Marines and then 7 in the Navy. Serving on the USS Theodore Roosevelt & USS Mississippi during Desert Storm. He is an active member of the Elks, VFW, DAV, Marine Corps League, American Legion, UBM & HOG.

He is a valued member of the board and helps with fundraising. He volunteers approximately 10-15 hours a month to the project.

Heather Carle

Treasurer of the Garry Owen House

Ms. Carle has a BS in forensic accounting and holds a Maine Investigators License. She works as a bookkeeper and a financial investigator. Her value is to assist in the development and continued program implementation of the Garry Owen House and volunteers approximately 10-15 hours a month to the project.

Lisa Wardwell

Director of the Garry Owen House

Ms. Wardwell comes from a long line of family members who are veterans. She is a seasoned entrepreneur who has proudly owned and operated 2 thriving businesses in Augusta for the past 19 years. With a commitment for giving back to veterans she has served on many boards, organized fund raisers and holds a monthly “Love for the Local” event for people who are in need.
