Lou Pelletier

President of the Garry Owen House

Mr. Pelletier is a veteran. He has been a member of state, local and regional boards whose functions include establishing and overseeing services for children and adults with communications impairments. He has developed and was director of a hospital sponsored community speech and hearing center. His value is to assist in the development and implementation of the Garry Owen House and volunteers approximately 10-15 hours a month to the project.

 

Donald Harriman

Vice President of the Garry Owen House

Mr Harriman is a United States Army veteran. He is a plumbing and heating contractor, plumbing inspector and Code Enforcement Officer for multiple towns. His value is to assist in the development and implementation of the Garry Owen House and volunteers approximately 12-15 hours a month to the project.

 

Warren Ard

Treasurer of the Garry Owen House

Mr. Ard is a general contractor licensed in multiple states. He is President of Warren and Warren Associates and founding member of the Garry Owen House. His value is to assist in the development and implementation of the Garry Owen House and volunteers approximately 15-20 hours a month to the project.

 

Heather Carle

Secretary of the Garry Owen House

She has a BS in forensic accounting and a Maine Investigators License. She works as a bookkeeper and a financial investigator. Her value is to assist in the development and implementation of the Garry Owen House and volunteers approximately 10-15 hours a month to the project.

 

Luther Thornton

Luther Thornton is a veteran of the United States Army. He currently works for the Maine Department of Transportation. He has also worked as State Corrections Officer. He has been a volunteer fire fighter, the Fire Chief and volunteers as an ambulance driver. He is Assistant County Director of the United Bikers of Maine. His value is to assist in the development and implementation of the Garry Owen House and volunteers approximately 10-15 hours a month to the project.

 

Alexander Allmayer-Beck

Director for the Garry Owen House

Mr. Allmayer-Beck is a United States Army veteran and received a Combat Medical Badge and the Bronze Star in Vietnam. He has a BA in English and a Masters in Social Work. He worked at the Hutchings Psychiatric Center from 1970-1992. He currently volunteers for several local associations and is a member of VFW, AMVETS and the DAV. His value is to assist in the development and implementation of the Garry Owen House and volunteers approximately 5 hours a week and will volunteer for 20 hours per week once the house is operational.

 

Dennis Urick

Director for the Garry Owen House

LTC Urick served 23 years in the United States Army and retired in 1991. He has a BS in Management from the American Technological University and a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College. He was chairman of the Belfast Historical Preservation Committee 1998-2000 and served on the Belfast Historical Society Board of Directors. He is currently a Mentor for the Restorative Justice Program. He is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Vietnam Helicopters Association and the Distinguished Flying Cross Society. His value is to assist in the development and implementation of the Garry Owen House and volunteers approximately 10-15 hours a month to the project.

 

Dana Philippi

Director for the Garry Owen House

Mr. Philippi is a United States Army veteran serving during the Vietnam era. He worked for over seven years at the VA hospital in West Hartford CT. He is on the board of the Regional Red Cross, Waldo CAP and the president of the local historical society. His value is to assist in the development and implementation of the Garry Owen House and volunteers approximately 10-15 hours a month to the project.

 

Micheal Rusely D

Director of the Garry Owen House

Mr. Rusely is a United States Navy veteran. His value is to assist in the development and implementation of the Garry Owen House and volunteers approximately 10-15 hours a month to the project.
